The quarantine introduced in March and the related anti-epidemic restrictions significantly affected the charity sector. The SANAHUNT Foundation team did everything possible to adapt the fund’s projects quickly to the new reality. We continued humanitarian support for institutions and wards, but had to take steps to protect every participant in our initiatives: we temporarily stopped visits to children in specialized institutions, cancelled mass events and moved the foundation team fully to remote work. In early April, requests for antiseptics, personal hygiene items and protective equipment increased sharply. Despite logistics problems, we responded promptly to every such request and continue providing assistance. Today SANAHUNT Foundation’s main task is to help our young wards and everyone who needs support in overcoming the consequences of the COVID-19 epidemic. We hope the spread of the disease will slow and that we will return to our usual rhythm, full of emotional communication, smiles and hugs.
